Nina Stanislavovna loved to draw since her childhood. Her mother, Nina's first teacher, considered the girl's abilities. She influenced Nina’s future profession. The girl didn’t take any extra classes in drawing at school. She only visited the preparatory courses before entering the Vitebsk Pedagogical Institute. After she had finished the Graphic Arts Faculty, she worked in the Polotsk district. There she met her future husband - a soldier. Soon he was appointed for service in Smorgon. So the young family found themselves in our town.

Nina Mironova has got the highest category. She teaches at the School of Additional Art Education and the Palitra Art Studio. The children have been studying at school for 4 years. In the classroom they get acquainted with different drawing techniques. Especially children are interested in non-standard techniques such as grattage, pastel crayons, sanguine, markers. The woman believes that a teacher needs to develop constantly. She studies and finds new things in order to offer them to her children.

If you dream of becoming an artist, fashion designer, architect or designer, you have to take a drawing upon admission. Children study in Palitra to prepare for admission to secondary special and higher educational institutions. Nina Stanislavovna notes that every year there are children who want to link their lives with the artistic profession. Former students do not forget their teacher and come to visit her. Every January the Art Center holds an art cafe for its graduates.

Nina Stanislavovna's students take part in various plein-airs, regional competitions. They always take prizes. This year her student Lyubov Shutovich took the 3rd place in the republic competition called Archnovation. The girl created a collage of houses under the guidance of her teacher.

Whether any child can learn to draw?  Nina Stanislavovna replies affirmatively. The main thing is the desire.

‘Now there is a variety of methods of teaching drawing. It's important to get the child involved so that he or she wants to develop. He sees how others draw and tries it for himself,’ said Nina. ‘At our lessons children do not only draw but also communicate, analyze their works, talk about what they've depicted. We discuss different topics with them: energy-saving and safety, their future profession, the Great Patriotic War and our Motherland. Sometimes we have classes in the temple. There is a special atmosphere there which also contributes to the development of their creative abilities.’

Nina Mironova never lets a brush and a pencil out of her hands. In her free time, she likes to create portraits and paintings of flowers. Nina gives them to her family, friends and acquaintances.
